Although the film ‘Kahi’ of Aravind Shastry is two years late the zoom and zeal is not missing in the team. The impeccable style of trailer and audio release was very appealing on Saturday at Sri Renukamba Digital theatre.

The four characters and four trailers plus each one connecting to it speaking interestingly attracted.

Akila is Krishi Tapanda screen name. this is my first film but after this she has acted in quite a films. She feels this is very special in her career. As a writer in this film without dialogues in a deglamorised role Krishi has a change over to her role in the film.

Hari Sharva is a drug peddler in the film. He has smoked more than eating food for this film. He is from theatre background. He has liked the team like how immensely loves his parents.

Mathangi is Vidya in the film. Bharatanatyam is what pulled her to this role. She had rejected a few in the past. This role has classical dancer touch but with a twist in the tale. It is a dream come true for this future heroine of Kannada cinema.

Sooraj Gowda plays the role of Raghu. He is a pampered youngster. He has taken to alcohol, drugs and smoking. The dialogue that comes after his portion of trailer ‘Malagiddakke Huttida Maga’ was shocking and surprising factor. Sooraj Gowda is already hero from ‘Maduveya Mamateya Kareyole’.

Aravind Shastry recalled the time he had written this script one liner. It was at 3 am in Ramoji Rao studio where he was to learn cinema direction. It is not money that worked in this film. It is all friendship and passion. One cannot do anything in cinema is what he learnt from this ‘Kahi’ film.

The record for this film comes from the ‘Sync Sound’ – Mudun Mukundan has picked 21 tracks from the original shooting spot. He has four songs and 17 tracks in this film.
